Yes it will be accurate for the treadmill, but so will the Apple Health app on your phone. I found Fitbit to be trash (product breaks, dumb information shared) and like my Garmin much more.

I want to start counting steps and a majority of my steps are on the treadmill. Do you find it to be accurate? Thanks!
