My family only likes green bananas. If there is no green left they no longer want them. I only buy green ones. Personally I HATE all bananas so I can not comment myself.

If you buy organic bananas, they may not turn yellow, but they will ripen.

I prefer them yellow because often times when I buy green ones they never turn yellow

I like to buy them yellow and I use the last 2-3 overly ripe ones for banana bread or banana pancakes.

Interesting. Thanks.

Same. It's so weird. I love their produce but always have to make another stop for bananas.

I buy half green and half yellow. Like 2 of each.

After two days, yellow bananas become so pungent and gross. Are most people who buy WF bananas eating them same day or next? Or maybe people like it when bananas turn super sweet and pungent. We do not. We prefer them firmer and less sweet.

Our WF almost always has both.

It's always timing, right?
Sometimes all the bananas are green. Yayyy!!!! Sometimes they are all already yellow so you just buy one or two and wait for the next shipment.

I have bought green bananas twice now that have never ripened so there's that too.

Are we the only family who prefers to buy pre-ripe green and green-ish and eat them as they ripen? But WF doesn't seem to sell green bananas. The yellow at WF are perfect if you're going to eat them the same day, I guess, but what family is eating their bananas the same day they buy them? If I bought WF bananas I'd have to replenish every 1-2 days because they'd be over-ripened and gross.
