I suddenly developed a strange blister bump there that turned out to be Shingles (yes, in my privates). Somehow I had a hunch and went to my PCP the very next morning rather than wait for an OB appointment later that week. Sure enough I got the meds and saved myself extra pain and blisters (it was still bad for a week but would have been way worse had I waited longer).
