Depends on what is the other 'e'. My 2e kid unable to access all honor class due to his inability staying in big honor class (including team taught class). DC can only be in small setting class and there is no support (manpower especially) for advance academic for that. Mental health first before access to higher material. Take it or leave it.

No.

There is a 2E subgroup to Fairfax SEPTA if you want to learn more. There is also a 2E Handbook that FCPS published a few years ago. https://www.fcps.edu/sites/default/files/media/pdf/FCPS2eHandbook.pdf

No.

What they might do is claim that you can't get services like co-teaching in an AP class.

Then you either have to fight that, or drop the co-teaching service for that class.

If your child is in the level 4 program and also has an IEP or 504, does the school try to use this to remove students from AP and Honors classes after they leave elementary school? My son has executive function issues and is in elementary school and his teacher suggested testing. He is in a level 4 program, he got in after second grade. I trust his teacher but am wary of when he leaves elementary school that this could be used against him in choosing higher level courses.
