$15,230/month for me and DH combined averaged out over 2024 including bonuses. Of that, we save $5,300 in post-tax savings and spend roughly $10k/month.

If you put a bit from your company to an Individual 401k, you could reduce your tax burden.

$7,900 for DH

But we both get paid every 2 weeks so there are extra paychecks some months that we use to play catch up with savings or for big purchases/travel.
