You have a valid argument questioning Loyola over Gtown but I don't understand you additional comments all. Yes, Loyola IS a safety for Gtown and yes its regional. Those have nothing to do with the rankings.

I think the bottom of the list looks questionable.

I thought that the University of Rochester was really a near Ivy in a battered but interesting city. How could it really have one of the worst campus experiences in the whole country?

And how could American University, a school in a nice part of D.C., rank that low?

Indian University ranks 449th. I thought it was famous for having a nice campus and a lot of school spirit.


For me it'd be because the weather is awful for way too much of the school year. (but some people like cold and grey)

There’s another oddity. How is it possible for Scripps to rank first and Pomona to do so poorly? They’re in the same place. Students who hate their school can go hang out at the other one.
