I used it and it was life changing for us even after trying all of the free resources. I recommend it to everyone.

I didn't pay for their video courses, but their content did help us a lot. It helped me understand why tantrums are happening, how to prevent/react to them.

Have you tried the Coursera course,"'Everyday Parenting: The ABCs of Child Rearing?" they have tips for helping to change behaviors.

idk, I’m not sure “grifters” is fair. They’re repackaging content from books, but those books didn’t have video courses. People really like video courses, so I don’t see why someone can’t meet the market there.

Agreed I have the course op, and it has useful tools and if you prefer video vs a book I think you will get concrete tools. Much easier than sifting through free resources, in my personal opinion. While Dr. Becky grates me in videos, her book Good Inside is also a good one.

There are some free resources out there if you want to try them first. I like really like PEP https://pepparent.org/

And also try https://consciousdiscipline.com/ — they both have a ton of webinars, book lists, etc that I’ve felt are helpful

I’ve learned that a lot of it is getting a better understanding of toddler development and giving her more support to meet her where she is at. For ex we no longer have fights around mornings or bedtime because we have a specific routine, charts on the wall, etc.

I do love Big Little feelings podcast so I imagine the course is helpful! Another podcast I like is Mr Chaz’s Conscious Discipline

I liked No Bad Kids and Parenting with Love and Logic. How to talk so little kids will listen was fine.

Imo the absolute number one key to discipline with mine at that age is to always mean what I say. If you count, or state a consequence, or anything like that, you have to follow through every single time. So that means being really careful with what you say so you’re never trying to use the threat of a consequence to get the behavior you need, and you’re never upset when you finally have to do one (like leaving the store, or whatever). The consequences just are, and you just execute them calmly. Then you can be there for their emotions about them.

Those people are nuts and convincing parents to raise completely awful adults.

Has anyone done this and would you recommend it? My 3 year old’s behavior is getting increasingly worse (though i suppose it’s to be expected since she is 3). My discipline and redirection tactics have stopped working so I'm looking for a new strategy for her tantrums and demands. For anyone who has completed this course, did it work for you?
