I used to have only boys and I felt that way. I wanted a girl so badly. I eventually got one.

Someone who is deeply insecure and unhappy with their own life.
I have only girls and if someone said something like that to me I'd just laugh and it wouldn't bother me at all.
Of course, if you had lost a girl or tried really hard for one, that's different, and that person is just a complete a$$hole. But I hope that's not the case and now you know more about this "friend" and you can spend time with them accordingly. Life is too short to surround yourself with unhappy people.
