The church is the people with whom you worship, not just worshiping alone to a service. When you worship at home alone, you lose the connection with the people.
Could you find a church that starts just a little later? For some reason, starting at 10 gave me enough time to get up and ready naturally, but still home early enough I didn't feel like it was a full day "wasted".

Yes, we are in Central VA and I would give absolutely anything for a weekday evening church, or even Saturday evening. But we are not Catholic.
