We do a literati one in the fall and a scholastic one in the spring.... My kids prefer the scholastic one because it carries more of this series that they enjoy.... Literati does have some nice books but it does require more of my encouragement for them to select something

SAME!!! I can't imagine someone switching from Literati to Scholastic. You can go to Costco and get the 10 books anyone wants from Scholastic.

I want Literati! I am so sick of Scholastic’s Oriental Trading Co. vibe and junk books.

Simpler, better selection, not as much of a carnival

We had Literati for years and just switched to Scholastic. Literati's designs are gorgeous. I think Scholastic has more well-known titles and Literati was more of a chance to discover different groups. Scholastic had more toys and trinkets. I don't know why the school switched vendors.

Our school is having a Literati Book Fair this year (instead of Scholastic). I've never heard of Literati, can anyone share what we can expect? What publishers does this company include? My children enjoy a lot of the Scholastic titles, so we're concerned that some of their favorites won't be available.
