Week 1 Black division schedule:
Battlefield v Robinson
Paul VI v Bishop Ireton
Yorktown v Langley
Madison v Independence
Don’t know why the Madison/ Indy teams are listed in the black division, but the game is listed as green. Think it is a misprint as the green team are mostly JV, so including it here.
Picks:
Robinson (11-7)- they were far above all the public’s last year and that continues here. All things equal, BF lost their stud goalie. They will not outscore Robo and will not stop as many as last year.
PVI (12-6) should be the best in the division here. In a battle of privates, they have been far better than BI. While BI has improved, they are not at the same level
Yorktown/ Langley- winner +1? Two fairly equal teams that battled it out last year with each winning one in very close games. May just depend on who registered, who shows up week 1, who is injured. True toss up for me
Madison (16-3) I hear the Indy talk, but they are just not at Madison’s level. I don’t expect it to be close. If Indy has a goalie, can control the X or plays stall ball this could have less scoring, will not be close either way.
Great analysis, pendence should not be in this division they simply can’t compete at this level.
Thank you. While I understand we share some opinions, your the poster that uses “pendence”
I find it quite annoying and disregard many of your comments in the other threads because of it.
When people here are rude or degrading I immediately downgrade their opinions.
You may want to rethink your approach and learn to honor the game and your opponents. Be the bigger person.
Wait what it’s just a shortened version of Independence hahahaha lighten up dude. Who cares that some guy says “pendence” and how is it anymore degrading than “Indy”
