It's not age out. Pre k is 3 or 4.
Young children must play, learn socio emotional then academics

Agree with this. Go back, and next year ALL of her friends will be going to a new program. Perhaps several of you will end up at the same place, etc/ And that gives you this winter to find better programs and apply to those for Fall 2025. If your old program has space, they would welcome you back!

We made that exact mistake. New place looked great when we visited, but then the teacher was changed at the new place and the new place was awful for DC.

We begged for our old place to take DC back and they did, thanks be to God.

Without a doubt, I’d go back & spend the next year looking for your next place. She will adapt easily back to the original place. And then you are just in the same situation next year, adapting to a new place that is hopefully much better.

People are not reading. You mentioned she would age out of the original center after this year, which means you would transition her back and then have to transition. Her gain after a year? Not a smart move.
