I wouldn’t look for fault in self, but I would advise that if you do another to take it easy the day after. Have acupuncture. I know people get pregnant all the time while also running marathons etc… but it doesn’t hurt to take it easy.

Possibly too thick - that plus your lost tubes sounds like endometriosis

The last time I researched what to do after an FET, normal activity was advised. Not rest it taking it easy etc.

You didn't cause it but next time take it easy so you don't blame yourself. I called it "couch princess" for a day or two after. I would put that over activities with visiting family etc - so much goes into the FET.

But yeah even with everything great the chance of success is still just 60-70%. It's hard but you have to chug along.

No, it's not your fault. I don't even understand what a skinned knee the week before a transfer could possibly have to do with anything, which is a sign you're spiraling and looking for a way to assign blame (to yourself!). The next time you have a transfer plan a day or two of rest and relaxation - if you feel like you've done everything you can do and it still doesn't work out at least you can skip this "beating yourself up" phase.

My first two failed. I would advise keep it light before and after FET. Warming foods, acupuncture before transfer. Good luck.

My doctors always told me my chances were great. 9 failed transfers and never gave birth. Have a contingency plan.

20 miles is almost impossible, that’s 13 hours of straight walking with no stops. If that’s real, uh yes that’s way too much.

I honestly don't know whether the initial post is real, given that it is really hard to walk 20 miles in a day. Nonetheless, even the best graded embryo only has a 65ish% chance of success. Someone has to be in the other 35% group. You do not need to be sedentary post transfer. It's fine to go about your normal life, but I would not increase your activity or do things that cause you to be unusually tired!

I am 37 years old and have no tubes due to ectopic pregnancies.

My doctor was very optimistic about my chances due to my great numbers. My uterine lining was nice and thick at 13 mm. My embryo was pgt tested. Everyone at my clinic was so optimistic for me. I did have a lot of stress leading up to FET. I also had family visiting from out of town so I was very tired and had full days of bustling activity. The day after FET I walked 20 miles sightseeing with them. I was also drinking coffee.

A week before I went on a hike, tripped and fell and scraped my knee. Do you think I was too active post FET? Is it my fault?
