Ugh I don't left my children eat that junk when it is brought in. Do everyone a huge favour and please skip bringing that trash into the classroom. It's not fun; it's not celebratory.

Because the factories are SO much more sterile than a bakery. I mean, no people work there or anything, right?

+1. Maybe individually packed oreos?

But also, it really is okay to skip it.

Our school strongly discourages birthday treats in middle school (private) but if you have to bring them they allow the kids to bring things like rice krispe treats. What school is it where 7h graders still do classroom birthdays? Isn’t that an elementary only thing

For 50 cents extra Georgetown Cupcake can put in individual boxes.

OP here- thanks but I’ve only seen really tiny ones from that brand and DD is in 7th, so treats are normally more adult sized in this age group.

Would the mini one bite cupcakes they have at Whole Foods not work? I’ve done that a few times. I think the brand is something like School Safe?

Our kids’ school recently changed their birthday policy so that we can only send store bought individually packaged treats. We used to do fun indulgences like Duck Donuts, Georgetown cupcakes, etc. Would love some ideas because DD has a birthday next week.
