One of the best sandwiches on the entire east coast, if not the entire country. What passes off as bread and hoagies/subs in this region is really sad. Fiore’s is so legendary that Frank Sinatra used to demand mozz be flied out from its store in NJ to him out in Las Vegas.
Philly has a lot of shops like this as well as NY. DC region is just super sad for good sandwiches. Why are sandwich standards so low around here?
