Spicy Ranch Water with a Tajin rim.
It’s topo chico, tequila (get a decent one), lime juice and fresh jalapeños. Delicious!

I stopped 8 months ago and don’t regret it. But a drink for me would turn into more so it’s easier for me to have none.

No solution. Just enjoy the drinks and clear your calendar for the morning so you can sleep in and then have a greasy breakfast.

Enjoy ONE drink, and nurse it. Then switch to water.

tequila is the lowest in calories I think. i think you want to drink you have to really limit what you eat to lean protein like shrimp cocktail or chicken satay or something. Salads can cause bloating

Bloody Mary - the mix counters the vodka effects next day.
In addition to electrolytes, sodium, potassium, and Vitamin C, tomatoes also contain lycopene, which is high in antioxidants Helping the liver.
Obviously- if you have like 5 and double the vodka or something it may not ge a great morning.

+1 for the bourbon, vodka, and whiskey (straight) - you'll pay for it but not in terms of bloating. It makes me shaky and feel guilty about everything, so generally I don't drink hard alcohol, at least not in the last decade.
Limit yourself to 2 glasses of wine early and skip a meal or two. You'll definitely feel the effects and it won't be as bad the next day.
RE - non-alcoholic mocktails is just BS. Really it's just overpriced fruit juice. Call it fruit juice and pay half the price, simple. It will come in a boring glass. Plus, you still have all the calories of juice and sugar, which makes me bloat.

Not really. You have to stick to drinks like vodka and soda. Specifically gluten free vodkas. Not all of them are.

You could try non-alcoholic beer -- some of them are really good now!
Or ask the bartender to make you something fun and non-alcoholic.
Or alternate an alcoholic beverage with a large class of water or seltzer.

After a summer of disciplined diet and exercise, I’m down 8lb and feeling amazing. I’m feeling “thin” and I’m rarely bloated. I’m exactly where I want to be.
This weekend DH and I finally have a weekend off with no plans and nowhere to be. I’d love for us to play a round of golf and then sit on the patio and enjoy a few drinks. But I’m the type of person who pays for it for DAYS after, and I know if I wake up bloated from the alcohol, I’ll feel really discouraged. Is there a way to enjoy a couple glasses of alcohol and not pay the price the next day?
