We did it for one of my kids. When your kid needs extra support it’s a pretty easy way to get it.

It's support for basic school courses, including the tech stuff like basic coding and basic robotics.
Don't expect anything substantial in the tech stuff. It's meant to be universally accessible, aimed at students with 0 experience.
No data on outcomes. It is a way to give MCPS teachers extra cash.

As a single mom by choice, I needed all the help / support I could muster. My DD loved it. We lived a 30 minute walk away and that walk was our special time together.

Keep seeing plugs for the George Thomas Saturday school. Is it worth doing? They seem to have other fun classes like robotics.
