You have two full time jobs?

If you can’t give up money, it sounds like you’ve already made your choice?

No, but yes.

And I know that then it means I have to stick with the higher pay job… it is working out in terms of job satisfaction, even as my performance reviews are fine…

Yes, either path could be longer-term. The happy path actually comes with negative health impact over time (like work related injury will amplify) so I’m not quite sure I could still be doing it in 15 years. I seem to be weighing longer term less than present actually, as in the long term we’re all dead anyway.

This is horrible. I’m sorry to hear.

It’s actually sad to write this but i just hit 50s and I can’t decide on my career choice. I have two very different career paths in front of me and I am equally drawn to each one. I would be doing both jobs in the ideal world but they can not be combined. One path is more money, the other one - more happiness. I can’t give up money as of course like anyone I like to spend. How did you decide when confronted with choices?
