My college kid uses class pass. There are tons of different classes and you can also just do gym time (not a specific class).

Most places also have drop in rates but it's a lot cheaper to go the class pass route.

You could try class pass. They have studios and at least in my city, open hours at gyms.

I really like gyms that offer punch card type drop ins for classes. I have done this at F45. They don’t expire quickly so I use the classes at my own pace

If you are a Montgomery County resident you can work out at the Rec centers for free.

Is he too cool for Planet Fitness? Having a membership there will be likely more cost effective than paying drop in rates in fancier gyms. In DC I occasionally went to balance and they charged $20 per visit before the pandemic. I believe planet fitness membership is $10/month.

County fitness center?

Most nicer gyms do day passes but at $15 / day it adds up

YMCA usually does a week free for out of towners.

My son had a gym membership, but we canceled when he left for college. He would like to be able to go to a gym during breaks and on the occasional weekends when he comes home. Are there any gyms in MoCo that allow you to pay per visit without a membership?
