yeti rambler. The zojirushi keeps the coffee too hot to ever drink. I like to drink mine in the car on the way to work, not 10 hours later.

I have a yeti and a hydro flask. Both are fine, but I prefer the yeti because it’s dishwasher safe.

+1000 I've tried many and the Zojirushi models are the best. Coffee stays piping hot all day, and I can literally store the (closed) mug upside down in my work bag and it won't leak.


That might be the case but have you opened it up to clean it? All of those types of mugs with super complicated mechanisms get mold and bacteria stuck inside unless you take it completely apart after each use.

Yeti is a whole lot let complicated and easy to clean. Keeps my coffee hot for 2 hours and that's really all I need.


Yes! I take apart and clean all the components of my Zojirushi every night. It's just a few parts - two rubber gaskets and the actual part you sip from, then the mug itself. It takes me like a minute. I've had multiple sizes of this mug in use for years, and no mold ever.

This is my go to. Love that it seals so no spilling. I also have a yeti but don't like it for hot drinks.

When I was commuting I like the Contigo tumbler cups. You have to hit a button when you drink, but you can also lock the button so it's about 98% spill proof. I found a few drops where still on top of the drinking part, so you can to watch that. But if it's locked, you're good to go.

Kinto. I love my Kinto. I've had it for years, it's easier to wash than my Zojirushi, and keeps my coffee hotter than my Zojirushi. The absolute best, and cute too.

Was rushing out the door and didn’t have time to drink my coffee so I took it in what I thought was a fairly splash proof cup. It was not. Coffee all over the bag it was in.

Anyone have a reco for a 16-20 oz travel coffee mug that’s truly spill proof?
