I text dh daily and my mom every couple days. But im in group chats for each class for my kid, bus stop and a moms friend group chat which goes on all day. I chime in and out since i work.

I only text my wife on a daily basis.

OP here. I currently live abroad and feel as though friends text me much more than they did when I lived at home even though I didn’t see them often.

Always at least 1 (husband).

Usually around 5 (husband plus my main friend group chat which has four other people on it) -- we text most days but not every single day.

Sometimes another 1-3 friends and sometimes 1 or both of my parents (once a week or every couple weeks during less communicative times).

So between 1 and 10 people on any given day but averaging out to about 5.

0. Right now I'm texting with a couple of family members bc my father is visiting the city my sibling and I live in. But normally nobody texts me.

My immediate family - husband, 3 kids (mostly just text older 2), babysitter, mother and mother-in-law (maybe a few times a week). Regular but not daily texts with maybe 5-6 different friends or extended family.

3 young adult DC, 2 siblings and sometimes DH.

I only text dh and dcs. I use messenger with my parents and brother (abroad) a few times a week. No contact with anyone else ever.

4 family & 2 friends

Most often just 1-3 people/day outside my immediate family living in my household. But some days dozens.

Today I texted with 4 family members and 5 friends and 1 colleague.
