I would like to incorporate more protein and fiber in my diet. (I am 44 and I think I'm in perimenopause- gained 15 lbs the past year with no changes and can't lose it)
I've never been a fan of smoothies but I think they would be useful - using powders for protein, fiber and collagen.
I just made a smoothie with frozen berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries), banana, protein, collagen and fiber powders and milk. It tasted okay but once I added everything the final smoothie was huge! I don't want to have to drink all of this. I see people drinking these huge smoothies- must be 24-30oz. Does anyone try to use all the powders etc but make it into a small serving size- like under 20oz?
