I'm confused. There are a bunch of residential streets around there. For example from Falls Rd OP could turn on Fallsmead Way instead of Wootton Pkwy and get closer. Is that awesome for that neighborhood? Probably not. But there are other streets that can get you closer.

The problem with Wootton is that there is only one road for approach, and you can't even turn away if you drop your kid off on the parkway away from the school.

Schools and roads are not designed for so many parents to drive their kids to school. You chose to live in suburban sprawl.so that means your kids may have to walk a while or sit in traffic. Your choice.

If you don't want to deal with the madness, have your kid walk part of the way. Or even all of the way.
Correct. These children are SPOILED. Even if the school is within walking distance, they refuse to and pester their parents or friends to give them a ride. They are so damn lazy. I say this because I have one in my house and it was a big fight. I bought him a bike and made him understand that getting to school on time was his number one priority and his options were to walk or ride the bike. Period.

Yesterday was really bad but today as soon as I turned onto Wootton Parkway from Falls Rd, the line started which is a mile long. This was 20min before the bell and that’s how long it took me to go that 1 mile. Not sure how bad it is on the other side coming from 28.
