Never will I understand why some people think it's some sort of flex to tell the world they're such a coward they're terrified to even set foot in a part of the city where tens of thousands of office workers, tourists, and those "blue haired liberal snowflakes" the "cities are hellholes" crowd is so fond of maligning enjoy without fear every single day.

These people get off on their cowardice. They live for it. Fear and anger gets them up in the morning.

Lol then go ahead and stay home, crazy. Leave all the great restaurants and entertainment and parks to those of us who aren't nuts.

There’s a Mexican place right across and also a barbecue place that are both good

Duke’s Grocery is a solid option right across from Nats Park. Osteria Morini is also good, but slightly further away.

Salt Line is a solid go to, for sure.

I'd steer very clear of Silver Diner, last time I ate there they gave me cold chicken noodle soup.

If you're a beer drinker Bluejacket has a great tap selection and perfectly decent food.

Emmy Squared has very good Detroit-style pizza and apparently one of the best burgers in town.

Salt Line is a nice if a little generic mid-tier seafood place.

OP here. Sorry, I am looking for sit down restaurant. For me, I'm open to anything but sushi.(I'll eat it, but it isn't my favorite)

There's tons of options. Are you looking sit down or fast casual? What cuisines do you like?

You literally could go to anything from the latest James Beard high buzz place place (Albi), to Chipotle.

I have tickets to see Springsteen at Nats Park on 9/7. I want to make reservations somewhere to eat before the show. I know the concessions will be open and I will probably have a beverage at the park but I would prefer to eat dinner beforehand. I am unfamiliar with restaurants down there.

It doesnt' have to be the most outstanding food in the world but it does need to be within walking distance of the park and the metro. Thanks.
