Are you highlighting at home or in a salon? Seems like a good hairdresser would help you with this? (I don’t have curly hair so maybe I don’t understand!)

Try Kevin Murphy. He has a full line for curly hair, and Smooth Again treatment.

I put a few drops of plain argan oil on my wet hair after washing. Really helps.

Olaplex + weekly bond treatments + dyson hair dryer/stylers + a great heat protectant.

I wouldn’t compare your hair to those silky blondes…curly hair is often naturally thinner and more dry. But more conditioner may help! Perhaps alternate between a protein conditioner and a moisturizing conditioner?

I have medium thick hair though and my hair was even thicker as a teen. I could make two ponytails easy. But it's definitely dry.

Gobs and gobs of conditioner every time you wash your hair, then leave in conditioner like Pantene.

You need to use Olaplex no.3 once a week. My hair is bleached but in amazing condition now from using it.

I have naturally dry curly hair so when I highlight my hair it's not long before it turns into a straw like mess. I've seen some women with silky black hair who bleached blonde or highlighted don't have this issue. Is there a better solution or an alternative to bleach?
