I don't know va, in bethesda you can get newer house for that price. At minimum remove all the window treatments and plants and crap from bathroom and get a professional photographer

Extremely dated. Why is there plywood in the foyer? The upstairs hallway makes no sense.

Landscaping is fine.

PP above and needs better landscaping. Too much work to do for potential homeowner as it looks and is priced now. For that list price I’d buy new and get what I want.

Overpriced! It doesn’t show very well from the photos- dark, cluttered to messy and dated.

I’d show it vacant or moderately staged with a fresh neutral coat of paint in each room and all window treatments removed. Then I’d lower the price to 1 million. Guarantee it would sell.

NP and not even interested in this issue but this post is an even bigger waste of space than the last one. Yes, people who ask why a house isn’t selling need to remember that price always applies. It is easy to forget when you get into the weeds.

Now let’s please go back to the question of why this house is not worth the current asking price. Thanks.

There’s a similar house across the street that was listed for $75,000 less and also has a pool. This house is ok but nothing special and unrenovated and for this price you can live in TOV. Lower the price and it will eventually sell.

The listing price is at its assessment value. Spacious house and generous backyard, good neighborhood, good schools. Traffic on Vale is not very heavy. Is it because of the style of its interior decorations?
