Yup, always willing to help. You should try it.

Help who? This is high school. Almost young adults. Harassing school counselors on the weekend instead of encouraging your child to learn to advocate for themselves is setting them up for long-term failure. Only if they actually need help, THEN you step in.

To make sure it’s correct so you can get it fixed.

They have that opportunity on Monday if there is a gap or doubled up period.

Kids were sent their courses during the summer and had until a couple of weeks ago to make any course change request. No counselors will be changing schedules by request this weekend.

Our school emailed saying no changes for two weeks. So, as a parent, the only way to have it changed is to be very proactive.

This thread is about RM. There is nothing to “be proactive” about over the weekend. Kids will see their schedules Monday (if they don’t check now) and will be able to request changes beginning then. RM’s deadline to change is two weeks- they act as quickly as they can to get kids into classes that are the best fit.

Yeah, this isn't nice to have since several high schools don't have a good master schedule and lots of errors and mistakes are made with schedules that have to be ironed out that first week.

Do you have no memory at all of being a child?

Kids want to know their schedules so they can compare with friends! Yes, they'll survive, but they're still antsy to find out. I would have been.

DC doesn’t have a schedule but a friend posted their schedule on SM.
