Definitely look at Ikea. Get rug pads as well -- theirs are fine and inexpensive.

I would also consider indoor/outdoor rugs. They are low pile and cleanable. Look at Sam’s Club or Costco.

I saw several things like this at Costco today. Some very thin, like a Ruggable, some thicker and more like a fur throw rug.

DC is moving into an apartment and needs to cover a certain percentage of the floor with carpet/rugs.

Any recommendations for cheap area rugs that are easily moved, Ie. thin/flexible enough to fold and put in the car rather than roll? I’m thinking something almost like a large bathmat.
