I bought an 8”x11” rug on auction for around $1,200 and paid at least the same amount for manual washing and minor restorations (after paying $250 for a standard cleaning - which clearly was not good enough…).
Where did you have this done? When I used Ayoub for the first time like 10 years ago I felt like they did a great job but the last time I was disappointed and I questioned it they’d even fully washed them. But to be clear I have no actual evidence they’ve changed their methods. It’s just my perception.
