I have used Normandy carpets a few times. They are great. For three large rugs (two 8 x 10 and 5 x 7) it cost $900 all in for pick up and on site cleaning.

I bought an 8”x11” rug on auction for around $1,200 and paid at least the same amount for manual washing and minor restorations (after paying $250 for a standard cleaning - which clearly was not good enough…).

Where did you have this done? When I used Ayoub for the first time like 10 years ago I felt like they did a great job but the last time I was disappointed and I questioned it they’d even fully washed them. But to be clear I have no actual evidence they’ve changed their methods. It’s just my perception.

12:09 again, one of our rugs is also wool and silk but larger, so can’t speak on pricing. Check out pricing for your sizes, website or give them a call.

We’ve only used Ayoub. They sometimes had a 2 for price of one. They pick up and do good job and were very flexible on the return when we were having some construction work done. I’ve been recommending them for years

what kind of cleaning 8'x11" 100% wall rug would take? Do you think that would be more expensive than polyester rugs?

I've used Ayoub Carpet. You can text them a picture of your rug and its size and they'll send a quote.

Who picks up and cleans your valuable rugs? I have wool and silk woven rugs.

The 3 that need cleaning are roughly the sizes below -- any idea about cost per rug? I've never had it done around here.
5 x 8
3 x 12
4 x 6
