There are just a very few fringe religions that don't want you to have vaccines. Everyone else just uses the religious excuse because they don't want the vaccine for some other reason.

If ever there’s a time for vaccinations, it’s when you live in close quarters with thousands of people, have compromised immune systems from staying up too late and eating like college students do, and possibly engaging in more sexual activity than any other time in life. Unless your “research” was enrolling in medical school, get the vaccines

OP, which one has the student not had? Is this about the meningitis? According to the Virginia Tech website, there should be a waiver in the portal: "Students may request an exemption in the Healthy Hokies Portal. Since your objections weren't actually religious, I don't think there's a first amendment argument to be made here. If your kid is in college, he is an adult. If he wants to stay at school, he will have to follow the rules. If he doesn't want to follow the rules he can find a different school (liberty could work) and take out loans as needed to pay for it, or get a job (probably not military; they have lots of vaccine requirements). It's his choice.
