Keep an eye on it and maybe get him some tight fitting undershirts in the meantime. I know at one point Spanx actually made such undershirts for men but I'm sure there's something similar out there.

My cousin had this. Gynocomastia. In his 20’s he got a boob reduction.

OP, it's normal. I understand he doesn't like it. But, he's not the only one and it most likely will go away with further development in puberty.

IF for some reason it doesn't, when he's fully grown and an adult, he can look into other options.

Considered normal. Buy him some of the thicker cotton tees, stock up on some hoodies, and let it resolve on its own.

This is a normal part of puberty for a lot of boys. Do not give him a complex.

He brought it up to me. At his checkup a few months ago, they were much smaller and the doctor didn’t seem concerned but she also didn’t say they would go away and they have gotten bigger. I know men who have this and it affects them a lot. Some to the point of lipo.

Common in puberty- that is why the doctor was not concerned. It will go away.

Not PP but in our experience when trying to identify a potential syndrome we were referred to the genetics department at children’s. From there they would manage relevant referrals to specialists.

Doctor said it happens. He's very slim but muscular with almost no body fat. When looking at him you can't really tell, but they seem to be growing and now one of them is about 2" when he squeezes it. The other side is smaller. Should I take him to a specialist? He's very early in puberty. 13.5, no voice change or acne, very little underarm hair.
