My money is on a covid-relief scam. Feds are cracking down hard on that, particularly when it's a public official who's trying to pull it off (see Mosby, Marilyn).

I want to say literally half the recent Detroit councilpersons were arrested and/or raided by the FBI. A couple were never charged, the others got slaps on the wrist. Even if they literally have you on THEIR mic/vid taking THEIR bribes, it’s like nothing happens. It’s a joke. The pols resign, usually. Big whoop.
