I don't think there is any magical secret to purchasing a car. People like to talk as if they got a great deal, or that they know a good salesperson that will "hook you up" but you're always going to end up paying more than what was really necessary. The salesperson and the dealership are not there to lose money.

If you're happy that's all that matters. Other peoples opinions don't mean squat!
