Traditional denomination churches in NoVA trend one of two ways: 1) very much aging, with most of the parishioners being seniors and the congregation on the verge of closing down, or 2) newly invigorated congregations with younger parishioners ... but that virtually always happens because of a strong children's ministry that attracts families; so everyone the age you mention is married with young kids.
The potential exceptions is the non-denominational mega-churches, like McLean Bible. But I wouldn't recommend that.
PP here. I see you are a single parent. We do -- at my relatively large family friendly church -- have some divorced/single parents. But they are, to the best of my knowledge, all women. After the divorce, the moms keep bringing the kids to SS and keep singing in the choir, and the dads are gone.
