OP here. Thank you so much for that info. I was wondering about it too, because the doctor in NYC posted amazing results 2 years after the procedure. Though I also hear about people complaining about their permanent tummy tuck scars.

Subject: Best plastic surgeon for scar revision?
Since I was a child, I have had a large surgical scar on my belly that's about 5 inches long that I would like to get revised. The incision was stapled closed instead of stitched, so the scar healed in a jagged and lumpy manner with a shelf. What's a good plastic surgeon in the area for scar revision? Most don't have pictures of the procedure on their websites, so I look at the tummy tuck photos instead. Not all of the tummy tuck scars look great, which is fine when it would be below the bikini line, but my scar is not. Still, those scars are better than what I have now.
