There are many many young women who want a guy who makes all the money and they can stay home. That is also pretty common now. Income and will pay for everything is very high on most young women’s lists.

Got an actual source for that?

Feminism also doesn't mean you're opposed to someone choosing to be a stay at home parent, Feminism is opposition to it not being a choice.

+1

Feminism means women have a choice.

What’s with all of Liberty U type threads recently?

No, “trad wife” isn’t a trend outside of religious extremist groups.

Id like a wife too to stay home and take care of kids and house for nothing while all i do is go to work. Thankfully DH great and does half the house stuff and half the income bringing part. But im sure the working parents life would be much easier if the other stayed home.

Why would you want a stressful professional job that kills you and makes you die early?

Gen Z women have figure out that the working world is overrated and for suckers.

If you have a daughter tell her to be a housewife champ. She will be a winner the way you are talking lol

The men can wish for traditional women all day long that's fine. I don't think the modern women want to be traditional though. I can't speak for all women but any man who wants to date my daughter and take things further with her good luck to you. As far she is concerned you will be the one cooking cleaning before you ever dream of her doing so.

Yes ,it’s going to be hard for a man to find a woman who wants to take care of kid, family and home instead of going into the workforce.

You’re delusional if you think that is going to be hard.

Well first those men have to actually get jobs that can fund that. So that's one. Second, men who feel strongly about "traditional" gender roles often just are terrible about doing their share at home and act controlling.

The reality is most men I've met who claim to want traditional gender roles are just lazy guys who don't actually make that much money but they want a woman to cook and clean for them anyway. The men I know who are doctors, lawyers and engineers are married to other doctors, lawyers, and engineers.

In traditional gender roles the men don’t need to do much at home because that’s women’s work. Their role is to make the money and provider the lifestyle. Traditional gender roles go both ways.

I think they will rapidly change their minds when (1) they discover how much housing costs, (2) they learn many very desirable partners have no interest in staying home and waiting on them, and (3) even the women who agree to this arrangement will sour on it when they discover having no independent economic power makes them feel unappreciated and used.

But go ahead a re-learn the lessons of prior generations I guess.

Did you post the wrong article?

The one you posted just reported a study that said the percentage of Gen Z men who wanted their female partners to out earn them was lower than Millennial men, but much higher then GenX and Boomer men.

Not much about traditional roles with a SAH wife.

It seems like feminism and the patriarchy might be on their way out with the younger generation. Recent trends show Millennial men and even Gen Z are increasingly looking for traditional relationships where women stay at home, and men take on the role of the primary breadwinner. What are your thoughts on this shift? Are we seeing a return to old-school gender dynamics?
