NP. No they don't. The ones who do are loud and like to talk and post about it constantly.

It's absolute garbage. Eat real food. And no one needs near the amount of protein most people are claiming they need.

Too much protein is not good for your kidneys.

They're the same stupid people who take metamucil, benefiber, and the like because beans and sweet potatoes have too many "carbs."

Eat fish and/or chicken for the protein. Low fat cottage cheese. Protein powder is junk.

Most people don’t need supplements or powders. Eat real food. Mostly plants. Avoid additives. If you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it.

Very hard to meet the amounts suggested by some people without drinking protein powder. I usually drink the Orgain Brand and I love the taste of it, but I can't get over the feeling that it's just crap. Not just the artificial sweeteners and preservatives, but the protein source itself, that it's highly processed. If you look at the ingredients, it's a long list.

Can't help but think that all of us buying this stuff at Whole Foods and the like have managed to convince ourselves that it's "healthy" but I'm not sure that this is anything different than a protein version of cinnamon toast crunch. The label may say all the right things but at the end of the day it's not real food. What do people think?

just eat FOOD

a hamburger
an avocado
nuts
a piece of fish
chicken wings

regular ol' food. it is ok to eat food. and whole pieces of it, not just sprinkles.

Your body needs wholesome, real food. It does not need protein powder to increase its protein uptake. Yes, protein powder is processed and ultimately not good for you, because you don't need the extra protein anyway and in the processing stage, any product can become contaminated with things you don't need or that could harm you.

Just like supplements are not tested for heavy metals or wrong dosages, and this is why it's always a good idea to only buy supplements that have the USP sticker, or some other reputable third party.

Of course it's processed junk.

Stop getting your "protein" from powders, and fiber from supplements.

Eat real food, people.
