The food is probably better at Richmond from what I hear. And the Richmond dorms are probably nicer. Private vs public.

W&M is more diverse and has a varied range of types of students (everyone can kind of fit in and find their people…er, tribe…there). Richmond is more preppy, wealthy, and insular if that matters. W&M has a strong reputation for track and the team is very close. A friend’s son is on the team and having a great experience (they’re from the Northeast).

My BFF is s history prof at W& M. Speaks very highly of the students. Phd from Yale. My DD was interested in Richmond. Was accepted but too small. They have act together but too pre prof for me.
