I work with a guy who also got one 5 or 6 years ago. He says he Genuinely liked the car. But decided to ditch it to disassociate himself with anything related to musky.

Maybe because not everyone considers one's choice of car to be a political statement? Some people just buy cars for transportation, some buy them because they like the design and/or technology, and some buy them as status symbols. Some people don't own cars at all.

Now we have this thread acknowledging that for liberals car buying is a political statement.

This seems like a huge elephant in the room, and I just can't figure it out. It makes no sense to me why anyone who doesn't support Trump would own a Tesla.
