So does Montgomery county. Sometimes the MCPS schools have them in the office or lobby if you can get in the building.

Libraries aren’t giving them out in MoCo anymore. That program ended in June-ish.

Anyone seen them at a NW branch? Would love to take advantage of this. Covid just ran through our house and I'd love to have a few on hand for the Fall.

They have boxes of them at the library in Fairfax too. As far as I know pretty much all home tests are about the same, you'd have to go to a doctor to get a PCR test done.

Cheapo ones you have to be really loaded virally now.
Expensive ones catch new variants better.

Thanks, I didn’t realize I could! Just ordered a pack of them.

Do Fairfax or Loudoun counties give any free tests?

I use insurance and grab them at cvs. I don’t know that the brand matters, does it? The main issue is that people often don’t test positive until well into an infection. We got our first positive on day 3.

We like Binax the best.

CVS generic is great, but they've all been sold out near us (DH has covid so we've all been testing). Binax and FlowFlex are each 9.99/test so not as cheap, but they work.

I have BCBS Federal insurance and it looks like I can get 8 COVID tests shipped to me free, just $5 shipping charge. Or pick them up at CVS.

Generic brands at cvs worked for us when we were actually positive

Where can I get some decent COVID tests now?

Not looking for a discussion, just want to test a whole family before a trip. I used to have a whole stash of them but have run out.
