Williamsburg is fun — you can do the historic stuff and add in Jamestown, plus bush gardens and even a day at great wolf lodge water park. Probably some hiking too but I don’t know about that.

Another idea is Gettysburg and Hershey park plus Lancaster country.

Or you can totally spent a week in NYC (and even combine with Philly and the touch museum and liberty bell).

I’m not sure if it’s warm enough to swim at Hilton head — I wouldn’t go there if it’s not, but if it is, that would be fun.

OP - probably a mix of easy hikes (5 year old can't really do more than 2 miles), outdoor time, children museums, theme parks are a plus.

Atlanta has a ton for kids but the drive is more like 10 hours. I haven't done it, but lots of people do Dollywood/Great Smoky Mountains for spring break.

We have 3 kids and want to do something new for spring break but flights are ridiculous for 5 of us! Any good ideas of where to go? Kids will be 5, 8 and 10 for Spring Break. We aren't in FCPS, private school, so spring break is a week after FCPS if that matters.

We have already done Disney so don't want to do that again this soon after we went. Would prefer not to drive more than 8 hours. I am the person who posted about the Royal Caribbean cruise out of Baltimore. Thinking about that but not 100% sure!
