I know this one in particular is about domestic violence and I found the book to glorify it a bit. Not that it promoted DV, but it seemed to take an adolescent view of how to people can be in such love and love can take on the form of rage blah blah blah. I didn’t like it and wouldn’t want my teen daughters to read it if I had them. Haven’t seen the movie, but I heard some of the more pivotal DV scenes weren’t in the film
+1 the book is not great, her writing is not good.

Ugh you really are stupid .
I’m the quoted PP. What is stupid? IMO, the book romanticized domestic violence and made it seem like he lashed out because he loved her so much. It’s not something I’d want to promote for my daughters. Yes they have the cognitive ability to read the book but it doesn’t match my values.
