My 12 year old 7th grader is extremely tiny (>1st percentile) and Abercrombie kids and Athleta girl are her top go tos. Old Navy and Gap clothing also fits her. She cannot wear Aerie, American Eagle or Hollister yet (to her dismay) because even their smallest sizes are too big for her.

Going through this now with my five foot tall, slim high schooler. For pants and jeans, American Eagle carries a “short” version that fits perfectly. Gold Hinge skirts also work really well. PacSun pants were laughably long, sadly. Good luck!

My tiny 13yo is very sporty, which seems to make it easier. Target, Old Navy, Nike, Adidas, Dick’s, Athleta Girl. And J Crew jeans have the adjustable waist, which helps.

Brandy Melville is my 2 teens favorite store. One is applying for a job soon. She can't wait to work there.

My 11 yo kid is still wearing a girls 8-10 size. For summer clothes we got generic quick dry athletic shorts off of Amazon and she wears them mostly with tshirts from activities (e.g., soccer camp, swim team, etc). Those will get her through the first month or two of school. For winter she'll swap in some jeans and athletic leggings from Old Navy and add hoodies from activities/travel. She has a few athletic-y things from Target too, including a few fleece pullovers. It's not a super trendy look, but seems to fit in with what the sporty kids are wearing.

Tilly’s has a kids section that is kid sizes but the styles are all teen fits. There are a few stores in the area if you don’t want to shop online.

And this is 23:32 again - my kid cannot wear aerie, hollister, etc. those other threads are useless for a truly small (age 11-13, size of a 6-7 year old) kid who wants to fit in.

Primary also has some basics that aren’t too oriented t little girls, as does target (avoid prints, and they have a skinny line of leggings).

Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, PacSun. My small DD often needs smaller sizes in pants/jeans/shorts and they aren’t always in stock at the store but are available online. She can usually find tops that fit. My DD also likes Brandy Melville (lots of things that fit smaller girls well). I don’t GAF about whatever the backstory is about that store- their stuff is cute and not too expensive.

I'm having trouble finding clothes for my middle school DD. She wears a medium to large girls clothing, but she's in middle school and finds a lot of clothes that size too little girl-like. Any stores around Montgomery County MD that would have girl sizes, but don't look too "little girl"?

We've tried Target, Khols, Forever 21... and had some luck, but would love other suggestions. Thank you!
