My girls played for high level club for 6 yrs - most kids play in basketball shoes. Better traction, better cushioning, better all round than volleyball shoes. Under no circumstances get the Avoli brand - both my girls ended up with bad shin splints.

My kid wore regular sneakers, anything comfortable, while in rec.

When she went to club she preferred basketball shoes. If this is a beginner rec season of volleyball, any athletic sneaker will be fine.

Our sports club has asked for rubber soled sneakers for age 7-10 volleyball practice. Can someone post a link from Amazon or others to show me what exactly to buy?
