If you’re still looking to register
For a Fall sport, time is running out. Tryouts are next week and you have to have a fully completed application with a physical on file to be eligible.

Some likely are currently unknown -- for example, are you looking for when there is a club fair at your school? Or the schedule of every extracurricular it offers? The former may be known now, but the latter won't be, pretty much anywhere.

And are you looking for the football schedule for your kid to attend the games? That will be listed somewhere? Or the practice schedule for a particular sport? That may not be fully set yet, depending on sport.

I'd urge you to post your questions, with specificity (which sport and which EC), to your individual school's list serve -- that will be where you are most likely to get accurate answers

Some schools are better about this than others. As is so often the calendar, the ability to look forward and see a calendar of events boils down to the strength and organization of your school's principal.

We received an important dates update from our school directly. Also, sports schedules are available through our HS website at the "Athletics" link.

High School sports - two ways to find out schedules.

1. Find the team's twitter account. They should be posting schedules around now.
2. Go to countysports.zone. Most team schedules should be loaded by now.

What extracurricular and other schedules are you referring to?

Like someone else mentioned, join Facebook groups for the school's PTA. Start following Twitter accounts (the principal, sports teams, main office all should have twitter accounts)

Honestly I have the entire schedule mapped out. For the fourth year In a row. I just go on the school websites. Unless you name your school people can’t help.

Which school? Maybe someone here can help. Our school principal sends a newsletter weekly which is helpful for dates like BTSN, etc, though I haven’t seen mention of homecoming yet. My son plays varsity soccer and they posted the tryout and game schedule a while back. However, we just assume we can’t plan anything Monday-Saturday afternoon through the fall since practice is mandatory.

I joined the fb parents' group for my kid's school as well as the boosters' instagram account. Also the sga account. Seems to be the only way to stay informed.

One day it will be possible to look up a calendar and find out everything.

Sorry, just a mother's rant, two weeks(ish) before school.

Nope. You're the only one.
