That makes zero sense. Not all classes are year-long classes, even in school systems that don't generally do semester-long classes.

MCPS records semester grades but not final year grades on the SGGR. Is that the same as the transcript? Common App requires both semester and final year grades. Does the same grading policy apply? So if a student gets an A in Semester 1 and a B in Semester 2, on a 4-point scale, is the final year grade an average (3.5) or rounded up (4.0) in keeping with MCPS policy?
