I like cottage cheese with great fresh fruit (like cut up peaches).

If they eat cereal, you can use FairLife milk, which has a whole lot more protein than regular milk (and get one with nuts).

As a non breakfast eater I find that eating breakfast just makes me hungrier earlier than I normally would be, so forcing something on them may be a bad idea.

Also, it's the SAT, not a hike. They will be ok either way.

Pretty sure they aren’t allowed to bring snacks now. It’s gotten more strict. Anyway online SAT is soon upon us.

I have a teen like this who dislikes breakfast. For SAT and ACT days, we used those frozen açaí bowls, overnight oats, or avocado toast.
Not having breakfast was NOT an option. Those tests are looooong

My student who normally does not eat breakfast had a cup of plain yogurt (which they don’t much like) and a banana. They took a couple of granola bars that they ate during the snack break. They understood the need to fuel the machine in unusual circumstances -whether they were hungry or not.

Honestly, if this person does not normally eat a substantial breakfast and manages to get through the first half of a day, I would not change anything. The disruption to the routine/digestion could do more harm than good.

What are something small, loaded with fiber & protein that could sustain person who gets extra time through long standardized tests?

Eggs not necessarily an option so early.

Maybe get up way before test so gets appetite?
