Want to be able to put kid to sleep without other adults having to go to sleep, too, so either need a connecting room or a suite with a true second room.

Also in nyc, there’s really playground or food everywhere. Even little bodegas for snacks. You’ll be fine.

Yea, two connecting rooms is probably my preference. I guess I need to call hotels to ask if they have them. I’m not seeing anything online to confirm places have them other than the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge.

We have family in greenpoint, and around there, look at The Box Hotel or the hotel Norman. There’s also a moxy Williamsburg.

Agree there are very few hotel options in Brooklyn other than near the East River, downtown, or the Barclays Center. There are still a few Airbnbs after the NYC rule changes, but not many. If you are driving to Brooklyn and willing to drive within Brooklyn, I recommend Franklin Guesthouse in Greenpoint as an option. They have studio suites with kitchenettes and it's right by the river and the ferry. There are small parks and many restaurants. You can fairly easily park on the street in this area and then just drive further south in Brooklyn, where you should also be able to park on the street. 1Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is great and they have valet parking, but this is definitely a higher price point.

I loved staying in the Ace hotel in a lovely part of Boerum Hill. Close to BAm and just a quick subway ride or longer walk to the Brooklyn museum, prospect park, etc.

Outside of downtown Brooklyn and Williamsburg, Brooklyn is a total hotel desert. Cheap Comfort Inns and La Quintas scattered around, but I would be very surprised to find a nice hotel with everything you’re looking for in the area you want. It’s one of the more annoying things about living in Brooklyn. My family always stay in Manhattan when they visit.

Farther south but I’ll check out Sunset Park. Any particular places?

Looking for a kid-friendly hotel in Brooklyn with connecting rooms and/or a suite with two separate rooms. Not sure of neighborhood but convenient to the south part of Brooklyn. Would be great if there was a playground or park and some food nearby, too. Any recommendations for hotel or neighborhood to target?
