How much and which zinc is recommended? My understanding is that over 100 mg can be dangerous and different formulations of zinc have different bioavailability.

Also, be careful with minerals such as zinc, iron, calcium (all 3 are metals at the elemental level; of course formulations of them are in the supplements we take).
Unlike vitamins, the minerals interact with one another and can really throw off the others if taken in too high a dose.
Also, no one has really addressed OP’s question about increasing DH’s volume (other than good hydration beforehand).
