Taking sick days when you clearly aren’t sick is a good way to get fired. Yes, people get fired when they have given notice already.

Some might call it petty, like you.

Others might think [name] former employee has low morals. Would not off hand informally refer her anywhere.

It's not immoral to use your sick leave for health related reasons.

Do you mean using sick leave while not actually sick? If so, that will = burned bridge.

Is there a chance you could schedule dental, eye, and other annual exam type appts. during this period?

Definitely use it up! It's your time, your benefit. Don't leave it on the table.

Bridge burned. OP wants to avoid that.

Unless your company has an "unlimited vacation" policy...

We get AL paid out so double check that ( local government)
I’d use SL though.

Sick leave, no, it’s for illness.

Vacation is earned, they likely have to pay it out if unused.

Need to do it carefully and over a 3- month period of time. That said, a case of COVID will burn a week of sick leave.

I have decided to leave my current job to find time for my next career move. I want to leave on a good note and not burn the bridge.

Will it be weird to take all my CC vacation days and suck days before I resign?

What do you all think?

Right now I am taking all vacation days which can't be paid for when leaving. And worry taking sick days might put a bad taste in leadership.
